How to avoid errors when claiming costs in H2020 grants
It is in the interests of beneficiaries and the Commission that there are as few errors as possible when claiming costs. The Commission therefore shared the main findings of the first ex-post audits on H2020 grants. They have listed the most common errors along with some explanations. Please bear them in mind when claiming costs. The full document can be accessed here
ENVRI Glossary
The ENVRI Glossary has been moved to Zenodo. you can find it here
Do you travel to ENVRI-FAIR related meetings?
Remember to add the event you travel to to our meeting calendar in Redmine. Once you are back in the office, please, go to XXX and fill in the online report. This will help us to understand what was discussed during the meeting, what were the key take-away messages, and whether we could communicate some of them around or outside the consortium. This will also make it easier for us and for you once the reporting period comes.

Project Management deliverables
D1.1Organization of project Kickoff meeting, including a Steering Committee and a General Assembly meeting
Zhiming Zhao, Alex Vermeulen, together with other partners from ENVRI-FAIR have submitted an application to EOSC Early Adopter Programme. The title of the application is "EOSC DevOps framework and virtual infrastructure for ENVRI-FAIR common FAIR data services" and it responded to EOSC-hub call. Contact Zhiming for more information.
Project Communication Tools
ENVRI-FAIR website launched
ENVRI-FAIR website (envri-fair.eu) is now up and running. It is integrated within the ENVRI community platform (envri.eu). While ENVRI-FAIR hosts mainly the project related information and news, ENVRI community platform shares all the information and documentation concerning the Environmental Research Infrastructures. The content, especially in the document section, will be added gradually.
ENVRI-FAIR external newsletter
We soon plan to release the 1st ENVRI-FAIR Newsletter. Would you like to contribute with a short report or news, or promote a relevant event? Please, inform us asap if you are interested.
ENVRI-FAIR Visual guidelines
A strong and harmonised ENVRI-FAIR visual identity is key to support the communication activities performed by the ENVRI-FAIR consortium and to consolidate the ENVRI-FAIR branding. Please follow the visual guidelines for ENVRI-FAIR to make sure our material is visually attractive and harmonized.
Powerpoint template
The powerpoint template has been updated based on your feedback. The latest version can be found here
New ENVRI-FAIR figures
A set of new figures that can be used in project's communications has been developed. The illustrations are accessible here
New illustration of the ENVRI community landscape
Two new illustrations have been developed to represent the ENVRI community and its Research infrastructures. There are two different versions 1) big illustration and 2) round illustration with focus on different domains. There are special versions highlighting the RIs participating in ENVRI-FAIR, with RI logos, or with their names only, etc. Select the right version for you here
Events
Review Workshop WP5 with the Subdomains Wednesday 30th of October, 2019
The discussion will be focused on the identification and development of common solutions across the subdomains. Mainly, the results of the FAIRness evaluation within the subdomains will be reviewed, to identify the common gaps and plan the common solutions.

GEO week, Canberra
ENVRI community and ENVRI-FAIR will have its own booth in Canberra, promoting the "European hub to environmental and Earth system in situ data". We are also participating in the organisation of a co-located event discussing "Data for our planet: Increasing the use and value of global information infrastructures to support resilient cities, disaster risk reduction, infectious diseases, climate change action and biodiversity and ecosystems sustainability"
EOSC Symposium 2019 “Where the EOSC makers & shakers meet”
Taking place from the 26th to the 28th of November 2019, in Budapest, Hungary, at the stunning Danubius Hotel Helia, the EOSC Symposium will bring together the shakers and makers in the growing EOSC community to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions about EOSC. Read more here

RISCAPE International Landscape Report launch event
The Report is the main result of the RISCAPE project and illustrates the position of the European RIs by research area in the international RIs landscape. All fields of ESFRI activities are considered: Energy, Environment, Health & Food, Physical Sciences & Engineering, Social and Cultural Innovation and e-infrastructures.
The event will be a great occasion to get all the information regarding the Report, with a specific introduction and illustration of the methodology realised by the authors of the Report, namely the partners of RISCAPE project. The participants will have also the possibility to exchange opinions, good practices and express tricky points during an interactive debate in the afternoon session.
A final event can be the start point for further actions and collaborations!
