About ICRI

Hosted biennially, the International Conference on Research Infrastructures is the major professional forum for the global research infrastructure community. ICRI 2024 will bring together policymakers, research institution leaders, facility operators, users and researchers, to discuss pressing topics of interest, trends and challenges facing research infrastructures around the world.

 

ICRI 2024 will be hosted in the beautiful city of Brisbane (Meanjin in Aboriginal language), the capital of the state of Queensland in Australia, traditionally owned by the Turrbal and Jagera People.

    This session, led by the EGI Foundation, highlights digital projects like ENVRI-Hub NEXT, iMagine, RI-SCALE, SPECTRUM, and PHENET. Learn how advanced tools and AI integration are transforming RI capabilities and expanding data accessibility for broader impact.
  2. Leveraging RIs for Climate Change Resilience
    Monday, December 2 | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
    Organized by the IRISCC project, this session addresses the role of RIs in global climate action, discussing drought, flooding, and air quality impacts from both EU and international perspectives. The session will feature talks from ICOS, eLTER and RIs from outside the Europe
