Objectives of the workshop
Stakeholders are most welcome to attend and learn more about the role of Argo in the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
The objectives are to present scientific usage of Argo data and technical aspects of Argo (platforms, parameters, data..) to the audience. The role of Argo towards addressing environmental policies and operational monitoring for the society will be also highlighted.

Arctic and Baltic users workshop

In addition to the online workshop we plan to arrange the second part of the Baltic and Arctic users workshop at Sopot, Poland in Autumn 2021, if travelling will then be possible. The second part of the workshop will focus on user engagement, discussing co-operation and providing hands-on training on Argo data use.

- Arctic Argo activites
- International collaboration in both regions
- Operating Argo floats in shallow waters
- Operating Argo floats in seasonally ice-covered sea
- Recovering Argo floats
- Sensors for core missions
- Biogeochemical sensors
- Quality Control
- Where to find the data and how to use it
