The EuroGOOS international conference takes place every three years. The conference provides a forum for a broad range of implementers and users of operational oceanography services, including marine scientists and technologists, private companies, and policymakers. The conference reviews the present ocean monitoring and forecasting capacities and oceanographic services, and identifies new science and technology priorities. It facilitates dialogue, experience sharing and future planning with both European and international partners and stakeholders, towards a more coordinated response to global challenges and societal needs related to seas and oceans.

How to join the EuroGOOS International Conference?

Please note that participation is free, but registration is mandatory.

• Paper and poster presenters: Please submit your abstract here before 1 February (23.59 CET). Abstracts will be reviewed for approval for the conference programme’s breakout sessions and all authors will be notified about acceptance or rejection decisions by 22 February. Authors are requested to indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation at the time of submission. Based on the results of the review process, papers not accepted for oral presentation can be considered for acceptance as posters. Full papers and posters have to be submitted by 18 April.

• Exhibitors: Exhibitors will have an opportunity to upload their detailed profile, add pre-recorded or live-streamed videos, participate in one-to-one video calls with other participants, and engage with attendees via chat.
