ENVRI-FAIR survey of Research Infrastructures’ current PID use

Welcome to this Task Force 3 survey where we are collecting information about the current usage of globally unique and resolvable persistent identifiers (PIDs for short) by the ENVRI-FAIR project partners!

The responses we collect will be used to get an overview of which types of persistent identifiers are used, for what kinds of objects, and what the near future plans are for further implementations of PIDs, for example towards supporting FAIR Digital Object Frameworks.

We expect that this survey will be completed *at least once* by each RI in ENVRI-FAIR, by whomever the RI decides is the best person to fill it in. If your RI is quite distributed and you have independent data centres for which answers will differ, then we are happy for your RI to fill this in several times. Please indicate which element (e.g. institute, node) of your RI you are when filling this in.

If you have questions or need help to fill out the form, please get in touch with the TF3 co-leads (Maggie and Angeliki).

We would appreciate if you can complete the survey by December 12, 2020.
