A series of intensive courses and workshops aimed at service developers, user-support staff, and anyone from a research infrastructure working on user interaction and community/network building.

For its 4th edition, the ENVRI Community Summer school, organised this year by LifeWatch, is focusing on how to build a “road to a FAIR ENVRI-Hub: Designing and Developing Data Services for End Users”. Coached by a line-up of renewed European experts, you will learn to improve user interfaces, level up your knowledge in the packaging of services, their reusability and validation, and you will be led into building and supporting networks through the lens of the ENVRI-Hub approach.

This summer school is designed for you to get practical takeaways and frameworks to bring back and implement in your own research infrastructure. All this with one aim: achieve data FAIRness and openness in your RI.

Five main benefits from attending this ENVRI Community Summer School:

– you will get prepared to use one of the main upcoming European FAIR and open data platform, the ENVRI-hub
– you will meet and work with data service experts from diverse European RIs
– you will acquire in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge, innovative technology for data analysis
– you will learn how assessing the technical readiness level for your service will save you time during validation
– you will discover how clear and concise descriptions of your services will attract a broader end-user base

The ENVRI Community Summer School 2022 is free for any staff member from a research infrastructure.
Classes and workshops take place from 10-15 July 2022, in-person in Lecce, Italy.
